It felt good to empty ourselves before God in prayer as a church last night! Asking God to search the hearts of the church and purify us!! This morning I want to remind you of Isaiah 58:8-9 that says when we Fast “Then your light shall break forth like the morning!” There is nothing like seeing a believer in Jesus Christ shining with the brilliance that God has called us to! We live in a dark world and a dark nation! Fasting and Prayer causes the light of Jesus to break forth in the earth like the morning!! Jesus said that you are the light of the World a city in a hill!! In context of Isaiah 58 God wanted Israel to be the light that shined in the face of dark nations!! The darker America gets in the last days the brighter the church must become!! Can you imagine Gods people in the last days shining brighter then they ever have in the face of sin and darkness! Fasting and prayer will cause your life to look like a beautiful morning in the eyes of the lost that are consumed by a dark world. The world will never be able to see in the dark unless the light of the believer illuminates their path!!! Fast and pray and let the brightness of Gods glory break out everywhere you go as we lead people out of darkness into the marvelous light of Jesus!!!God Bless!!!
